The Dallas Swing Dance Society hosts two workshops every month. Before the first Saturday dance, take the 2 hour Intro to Lindy Hop Workshop.
Then, hang around for a beginning swing lesson from 8-9PM and the Swing on a String dance from 9PM until midnight. These events are held at
the Sammons Center for the Art, 3630 Harry Hines Blvd., near the American Airlines Center.
FWSDS members get in for the discounted price of $9 for members for the ENTIRE night. $12 for non-members.
The third dance of the month offers an intermediate/advanced workshop. Sometimes this class teaches a different style of dance
(balboa, Charleston, blues) or it may be styling, footwork, or advanced Lindy. Check the DSDS website for more info or show up and be surprised!
